Sara and Julia planned a minimal, romantic and industrial style wedding at Eaton Hotel in Washington, DC shining their love and happiness everywhere they went! This couple had in mind a non-traditional wedding, no coordinator, no cake cutting, no sparkler exit; they just wanted to have a good time with their loved ones. With greenery that decorated the walls and ceilings with candles that lit up every table, giving a very romantic moody ambient.
They had a beautiful and emotional ceremony around all their guests and family. Following with a portrait session with their wedding party and immediate family members. And during this time, Julia wanted to re-create their grandparents' wedding portrait, together, holding hands against a greenery white wall at their reception space, we made it happen. It was exactly what they envisioned.
Not to mention how fun and loud the cocktail hour was, that set the tone for what was coming next. We all laughed and shared tears. Once on the dance floor, they had their own "first dance" where they slow-danced for a bit, laughed and invited all their guests to come join them! And just like that, they set the tone for an amazing reception party!
This wedding was an unforgettable event.
