Meaningful Moments

Throughout the entire day, you could feel the love between the families. There were so many heartfelt moments while the bride and groom got ready with their parents and wedding parties. Both Mariandree and Jesse have a special bond with their parents. Feeling and capturing the intimate moments on their fall wedding day was truly magical.

Latino Hertiage Wedding Details

Mariandree and Jesse wanted to celebrate their Latino heritage and have the most fun Mexican-Guatemelan wedding. Jesse's cousin hired a mariachi band (in secret) to sing for them, and they showed up right after family portraits. Mariandree was pleasantly surprised and brought to tears of joy. This was such an incredible moment to capture! At the reception, the couple had delicious Mexican food catered by Uncle Julio's, and their favorite drink, jarritos, accompanied it. For dessert, they had delicious conchas! At the night's end, the couple were greeted with another surprise -- churros by Churros In DC! It was a night full of great food and drinks and celebrating their love of their cultures with all of their loved ones.

A DIY Wedding Rustic Barn Wedding

With the help of Mariandree's family and friends, they created one-of-a-kind DIY wedding decorations and details. From the seating charts to the beautiful bouquets to the card and gift signs, this wedding had many custom rustic-inspired decorations. Every detail was thoughtfully made and captured the couple's true essence.

A Dear Colleague And Friend

This was a very special couple for me. Not only is Mariandree a photographer colleague, she is a dear friend of mine. Throughout our time together, I have been able to do a couple of sessions and her engagement photoshoot. These are one of the many reasons that make me appreciate my work. It was such an honor to capture their wedding day, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for this vibrant couple!
