Paradise Springs Winery Wedding In Virginia

Frank and Jordan had an intimate wedding the beautiful Paradise Springs Winery in Clifton, Virginia. I absolutely love capturing intimate weddings, and Frank and Jordan's day couldn't have been more perfect.

An Vibrant Getting Ready Session

Jordan is the bubbliest bride I have ever met, and she wanted to get ready at her family home. She and her three best friends (including her sissy) had the best time getting ready. There were mimosas, music, and snacks; the energy was carefree and full of excitement. The room was perfect for some bride and friend photos on the bed (these are so trendy right now!), getting ready with her mother, and it was completed with some first-look pictures with her parents, who are just as vibrant as she is. It was the best time!

Frank was already at the Paradise Springs Winery venue, and we took some outdoor groom solo portraits, and then we included his family. Frank was relaxed in his navy blue suit. His mother and sister were the sweetest, and you can feel the love and admiration between each family member. It was truly a family affair.

Laidback First Look Photos With The Groom

This adorable bride wanted a mini first-look photo session, which was so fun. What was even better was the timing of their wedding. Fall is truly a magical season in Virginia; this vineyard venue had pumpkins decorated throughout the area. We had Frank standing, facing the pumpkins, and Jordan came behind and tapped him on the shoulder to surprise him; his look was priceless. Frank was overjoyed to see this stunning bride, and there were plenty of laughs!

Pre-Ceremony Portraits At The Paradise Springs Winery

Who says you have to wait until after the ceremony to take portraits? Not me! This is a smart move, especially if the weather is not in your favor. The forecast was calling for rain later in the day. Therefore, we decided to take photos before the ceremony. The clouds created an overcast, and that made for impeccable lighting. Since it had been drizzling, Jordan brought some rain boots to shoot the photos- smart move!

The Paradise Springs Winery borders the Bull Run River and is nestled on a quiet, quaintly hill in Clifton, VA. It is the perfect destination for intimate weddings. It also offers picturesque wineries and views of nature. We knew we wanted to take advantage of these views, so we took bride and groom portraits in the vineyard, the woods, the hiking trail, and their cellar. It was such a fun time shooting all over the venue!

Intimate Ceremony & Reception

The beautiful Virginia venue was the perfect location for their small rustic wedding. Their ceremony was held under the most gorgeous chandelier. Windows surrounded the space, offering views of the entire winery land. There was no dry eye during the ceremony; it was authentic, true, and emotional. Then, when the ceremony was done, they headed down to the reception space, which was so conveniently smooth.

Everyone found their seats and then feasted on one of Jordan and Frank's favorite places to eat -- Mission BBQ. All of the guests were dining and, of course, enjoying the finest in-house wine. The lovely spontaneously danced on the outdoor patio and got tremendous intimate portraits. Soon after, the newlyweds came back in to join their loved ones, and they danced the night away!

Closing Remarks

What I loved about this couple is that they made their wedding untraditional. They had expected elements but also opted out of traditional things like having wedding parties, cocktail hour, and cutting the cake. They wanted it to be a day of celebration and being present with loved ones, and it's safe to say -- it was accomplished so effortlessly!
